3GCC was established in 2012 by its two Directors Linda Gant and Stuart Goodchild, who have worked together for over 20 years in the Cambridge area.  

Stuart Goodchild BSc MRICS

Stuart is a co-founder of 3GCC and a chartered quantity surveyor.

Much of his experience has been within Higher Education but Stuart has also worked on infrastructure schemes, residential, heritage, public buildings and commercial schemes.  Several of Stuart’s projects have gone on to win awards, with the both the Accordia Development in Cambridge, and the Sainsbury Laboratory - Cambridge winning the Stirling Prize for Architecture in 2008 and 2012 respectively.

Stuart has worked on a number of Two Stage projects which has involved working closely with Clients, Designers, Main Contractors and Sub-Contractors and also has an extensive knowledge of the use and implementation of the NEC form of contract.

Linda Gant MRICS

Linda is a co-founder of 3GCC and a chartered quantity surveyor.

She has experience in all aspects of pre and post contract construction cost management services on a wide range of projects in both the public and commercial sectors that include schools, hospitals, research facilities, laboratories and offices. Linda has also acted as a Fund Monitor providing advice to funding institutions on commercial and residential schemes and also has experience of providing project management support services to a number of institutions, some of which has been undertaken on secondment.

Linda has a broad practical knowledge on most forms of procurement, contracts and construction development processes, including traditional, two stage and design and build.
